Pepsi saudi Essay The Saudi industrial projects company and (SIPCO) and the Saudi fruit juice and beverage industry (SFJBI) emerged as one operating entity in 2002, but prior to that, Pepsi Saudi had operated in the kingdom for many decades. The acquisition amount was not publicized and this writer does not have privilege to that information, however industry insiders lauded the acquisition as a significant milestone in the western region of the kingdom. The reasoning behind the merger was the continuing of production of superior product and better product to the customers. Pepsi Saudi has dominated the  soft drink industry in the kingdom for over 50 years , and it did not want that to change. After the merger Pepsi Saudi decided to adopt the Balanced Scorecard management system in order to help the organization to stay on top of the soft drink industry and provide better products to its customers. MISSION AND VISION: To manufacturing and distribute the best Pepsi coal beverage-beverages . To continue to offer the best carbonated soft drinks and non carbonated soft beverages under various labels label, including Pepsi, diet Pepsi, Pepsi lime, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Aquafina,  7up, Dr Pepper. In order to accomplish these goals Pepsi Saudi management opted to implement the BSC business approach, with emphasizes on the equalization of financial goals with customer satisfaction goals, and training and employee retention efforts. The management reasoned that with equal balance of those key objectives, the organization would be able to maintain and ultimately surpass its customer base, and also sustain its frontal position in the industry. The management concluded that if it were able to retain superior customer advantage and stay in front of their competition with superior products, it would eventually translate those to financial advantage. Presently the organization is feverishly pursuing the acquisition of new customers while it holds on to its core base. It has launched intensive ad campaigns featuring youth activities, and other popular events such as soccer, and ads with focus on young adults, weddings and intimate family programs. It has launched the popular Pepsi max, with men in min. it also launched  an entirely new look for the 7up. But most importantly, according to Zawya. com (March 29, 2006) Pepsi has elevated its market share to 70% in the UAE. And a significant majority of its 2,246 employees are reportedly in total support of the BSC management system. The entire organization is focused on the production of superior soft drinks, and the satisfaction of its customers as well as the retention of the employees who have helped it to come so far. The employees are competently trained in the BSC system, so cascading could only be an advantage, because of the determination of Pepsi  management to give the employees an efficient training in the BSC system. And the claim of 70% market share is an indication of the outstanding employee performance that has been evident following the implementation of the balance scorecard system. The organization takes its responsibilities to young people quite seriously. It has donated significant amounts of money to socially responsible youth events, and has contributed to health provisions and management in areas that needs the support in the kingdom and outside the kingdom.

Robert Johnson I went down to the crossroads fell down on my knees. Robert Johnson went to the crossroads and his life was never the same again. The purpose of this essay is to tell you about the life of Robert Johnson. He is the root of much of the music of today. If he didn't influence the musicians of today directly, he influenced the bands that influenced today's music. Robert Johnson is more than just another Blues man with a sad story. To sing the blues with as much soul as Robert Johnson did, you know his life was rough. The life of Robert Johnson was memorable but short. Robert Johnson was born on May 8, 1911. Robert was a product of an extramarital affair. He lived with many different father figures before moving 40 miles south of Memphis to Robinsonville, Mississippi, where he would live till his early adulthood. The first instrument Robert played was the harmonica. Robert quit school as a teen and started working in the cotton fields. Robert left that life to travel and play his music. He began to play the guitar around the age of fifteen. Famous blues men; Charlie Patton and Willie Brown influenced Johnson when he was young. At age 17, Robert married Virginia Travis. She and their first baby died during childbirth. Johnson then went on the road. Robert traveled all over the Midwest and all the way down to Mississippi and Arkansas. He married Calletta Craft during his travels. She died only a few years later while Robert was on the road. On November 23, 1936, Johnson recorded his music for the first time. The first song he recorded was "Terraplane Blues." It became a best-selling hit for Vocalon, a Columbia Records specialty label. In June of 1937, Johnson recorded for his fifth and final time. Johnson only recorded 29 songs during his lifetime. Johnson would have recorded many more songs and may have been an even bigger legend than he already is if his life was cut short. The death of Robert Johnson was tragic and the myths that surround him will last forever. In August 1938, Johnson played the last show of his life. The jealous husband of a woman that he began an affair with while in Greenwood, Mississippi poisoned Johnson. During the show the husband poisoned Johnson's whiskey. Johnson died on August 13th, 1938, three days after he was poisoned.

Child Development Observation Essay

The setting of where I observed the baby was at my house in the family room. The family room can be pictured as a square. The door to enter the house is in one corner of the family room. To the left of the door there is a mirror on the wall and next to the mirror there is a single person couch. The color of the couch is brown. That sits in the corner adjacent to the corner where the door is. Then, there are the sliding doors to enter the patio and in the corner adjacent to the couch there is a big, black television. Next to the television, my baby’s pink Winnie the Pooh play yard. Next to that is her small pink and brown, vibrating bouncer. Then there’s the last corner of the room which opens to the bedrooms. This is the room where the observation took place. The baby I observed is my nephew, Gabriel. He is four months and three weeks old. He will turn five months on the 22nd of this month. He was wearing a blue jean overall with a brown onesie that has little puppies. He also had some soft tennis shoes on. They are white with a navy blue stripe on each side each shoe. He barely has any hair and he has no teeth. In twenty minutes, Gabriel was very active. I started observing as soon as he woke up from a nap. He began by stretching both of his legs straight out and his left arm stretched straight up towards his head and his right arm stretched up towards the sky. My boyfriend then picked him up and started talking to him. Gabriel started laughing and kicking his feet back and forth, starting with his right foot and continued by alternating each kick with the opposite foot. He stopped laughing and shoved both of his hands in his mouth. He made himself gag. He was then tickled again and started laughing. Again he began kicking his legs, left then right. He grabbed his face with his left hand. He started to get hungry. While his bottle was being prepared, he began sucking on his left hand and he began to make sucking noises. As my boyfriend got the bottle close to Gabriel’s face, his eyes popped open and he opened his mouth. While he ate, he moved his right hand over his face and made sucking and snorting noises. He was also just looking around while eating. He was about a quarter done with his bottle, when he stopped eating and started pushing. Both of his hands clasped together and he made a noise which let us know that he was pushing. All of a sudden, I heard him pass gas but it wasn’t just gas. The gas came with a little surprise. He kept his fists closed and kept pushing. He was pooping. Once he was done, he gave a big smile and started kicking his legs again. He also began sucking on his hands. My boyfriend laid him on the floor on top of his blue, fuzzy blanket. Gabriel began making cooing noises. As my boyfriend began taking off Gabriel’s clothes, he continued kicking and making cooing noises. As his diaper was coming undone, Gabriel started laughing. My boyfriend got a hold of his legs and took off his diaper. Gabriel just began sucking on his hands again. Gabriel’s mom saw him and took his hands out of his mouth. She gave him a pacifier. He began rubbing his eyes with both hands. He then began to cry. My boyfriend put his clothes back on and continued feeding him. Gabriel was lying with his feet dangling off of my boyfriend’s leg. His right arm was around my boyfriend’s back and his left arm was on his stomach. He was making a sucking sound and was opening and closing his eyes. Gabriel jumped when he heard a loud noise. He opened his eyes and his left arm went straight up into the air. He was calmed down and closed his eyes again. His left arm dangled to his side. He stayed like that until he finished eating. He was stood up straight and burped. He fell asleep and he was laid in my daughter’s play yard with his arms to the side and his legs spread apart.

Music has always been an appealing part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I was desperate for my parents to purchase me a small set of drums in hopes that I would join a rock band within the near future. Even in elementary school, playing the recorder and learning how each note works was a fond experience that I can recall. It wasn’t until the start of middle school where I began to actually learn how to correctly play an instrument for the first time. At that time, I was loud and obnoxious, often blurting out jokes during inappropriate moments, resulting with me getting sent to the back of the room to evaluate my actions. But that’s the point where I truly realized music changed my life. I wanted to change, and work to becoming both a better musician, as well as a better person. Going into the next year, I was still loud and obnoxious, but at the same time, I had become more focused and determined into achieving a goal. I practiced almost ev ery day, improving my skills and discovering new intermediate techniques such as â€Å"staccato† and â€Å"vibrato†. It only got better in high school when I participated in the school’s advanced symphonic orchestra and award-winning show and jazz choir, as well as being a supporting and leading actor in multiple musical shows.
